Abstract

Letters written from soldiers to Alice F. Stewart, a nurse in the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I (WWI).  Bulk of material is in French. Majority of correspondence is written on postcards.

This collection is comprised of a single anonymous over sized Christmas letter written to family members in Augusta, Georgia in 1878. Names mentioned in the letter include Annie Cozart, Harriett, Lizzie, and Bill. The letter is signed J.H.A.

This collection is comprised of materials relating to the Coleman and Catlett families, collected by Dr. Warren Soleman in the course of geneaolgical research into the families.
